Application Period

The registration typically closes about a month before the exam date, and applications are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, especially at high-volume testing centers.
(Tip: Visit our How to Apply for the Civil Service Exam 2025 guide for complete step-by-step instructions, required documents, and downloadable forms.)
Venue Assignment
Expect your testing center information to be released 1 week before the exam.
After your application is processed, the CSC Regional Office or assigned testing center will release your Notice of School Assignment (NOSA). This notice contains your designated venue, room number, and test instructions.
You can check your assignment by visiting the official CSC website or using their Online NOSA inquiry portal once available.
Exam day
Sunday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (arrive at least 30 minutes early)
The Civil Service Exam is always held on a Sunday, nationwide. Be sure to bring your valid ID, application receipt, black ballpen, and other requirements (as instructed in your NOSA). Latecomers are typically not allowed to enter once the exam begins.
Arrive at the venue no later than 7:30 AM to allow time for screening, seating, and last-minute reminders.
Results Release
Expect the exam results to be posted 45 to 60 days after the test date.
After completing the test, the wait begins. The CSC Exam Results are usually released 1 and half to 2 months after the exam, published on the Civil Service Commission official website. The list of passers for both Professional and Sub-Professional levels is sorted by region and level.
Make sure to regularly check the CSC Website, Facebook page, or sign up for updates from your regional office.
