
How to Claim Your Civil Service Exam Certificate

Step-by-Step Claiming Process
Check If You Passed
- Wait for the official release of results (usually 40–60 days after the exam).
- Visit the CSC website or go directly to:
https://www.csc.gov.phorhttps://erpo.csc.gov.ph/ocsergs (OCSERGS portal) - Use the OCSERGS system to check your individual rating.
- Required details:
- Name (First, Middle, Last)
- Date of Birth
- Date of Examination
- Type of Exam (Professional/Sub-Professional)
Prepare the Requirements for Certificate Claiming
- Once confirmed as a passer, prepare the following to claim your Certificate of Eligibility:
- Basic Requirements:
- Valid ID (same as the one used during exam)
- One (1) piece of 1x1 photo with name tag and signature
(If you still have the claim stub photo, that's also acceptable) - Properly filled out ERRF and E6 forms
(Available at the CSC office or CSC Website) - Application Receipt and/or CSC Official Receipt (if available)
- ₱100 payment for Regular CoE
Visit the CSC Regional or Field Office
- Go to the CSC office where you filed or took the exam.
- Proceed to the Examination Services Division or Eligibility Processing Unit.
- Submit the required documents.
- Wait for the processing and claiming of your Certificate of Eligibility (COE).
Claim Your Certificate of Eligibility
- You'll be given an official Certificate of Eligibility signed and stamped by the CSC. This will serve as proof of your eligibility for government employment.

Two Types of Civil Service Certificate of Eligibility
Temporary CoE (Free)
- This is issued free of charge to all Civil Service Exam passers.
- It's printed on CSC letterhead.
- It is valid for two (2) years and cannot be authenticated.
- Best used for immediate verification or personal documentation.
Regular CoE (₱100)
- Preferred for job applications in government agencies.
- Costs ₱100.
- Printed on security paper and can be authenticated.
- No expiration. It's a permanent record of your eligibility.
